Do Car Extenders Work in Airplanes

Airplane vs Seat Belt Extenders
It's a pretty common question - and with good reason. If you could take your Car Seat Belt Extender on the airplane, you'd kill two birds with one stone.
But alas, the news isn't good: Car Seat Belt Extenders do not work in airplanes and Airplane Seat Belt Extenders do not work in cars.
Once in a while someone will come to us with a funky vehicle (a driving vehicle, not a flying vehicle) and mention that his or her seat belt has a 1 3/8" wide metal tongue . . . and it's square . . . and it only has one hole . . . and we get our hopes up.
Over and over again, however, it turns out to be one of this life's great teases. Our Airplane Seat Belt Extenders do not work in cars, and our Car Seat Belt Extenders never fit in airplanes.
To be honest, this is probably for the better. While our Belt Extensions are insanely strong (like, whoa strong), our Airplane Seat Belt Extenders are FAA Compliant and made by AmSafe and Davis, the companies that makes the seat belts and seat belt extenders that are actually in all the planes you're flying in. We've decided to leave to planes what goes in planes and to cars what goes in cars.
That said, if you decide you want to buy your Car Seat Belt Extender and your Airplane Seat Belt Extender at the same time, we'll give you $7 off your order with the code Mystery Revealed.
You know what's not a great mystery? If that's a great deal! But now you know.
