    seat had to be removed to install belt.wiring of switch had to be spliced and extended.belt about 7 inches too long.

    I saw this item advertised as a 13" seat belt extender. I already had one in the car, which I measured as a 10". I measured from one end of the webbing to the other, not counting the metal mounting eyes. When I received this extender (Which was shipped VERY promptly), I was somewhat disappointed to discover that it was measured over the FULL length, mounting eyes and all, making it shorter than what I already have. However, I am considering mounting this extender in series with the existing extender, which should give enough length. Summary: Great customer service, product leaves a little to be desired, but I think I can make it work.

    The seat belt extender was installed today Nov 25th. It seems to be working alright and gives me much more room than I had before the installation.

    Did not work on my truck! Being it is a 1981 model may be the reason! I also understood it worked differently, so it was my mistake!
