just what we needed
The morons who designed the 2017 ford explorer made the car wide enough to accept 3 booster seats, but put the seat belts in a position such that the buckles are not accessible. For the middle seat, they actually come out in such a weird place that a booster cannot even be placed fully onto the car seat. For the window seats, these extensions work very well, allowing the kids to buckle themselves without much difficulty. For the middle seat, these allow the use of the seatbelt, but the booster seats still won't lay flat and all the way back...that's not a fault of these extenders, however, but a design flaw by Ford.

Great Product!
I bought these for our sons Ford Explorer as we (four adults) were going on a road trip in it. Fords seat belts are not comfortable at all...the part in the seat is to far in the seat, the shoulder strap is rough and like a serrated knife blade and does not adjust for hieght differences therefore it feels like it is sawing your neck and if you pull it out too far so as to get it off your neck it locks out. I bought these seat belt extenders hoping they would make the ride more comfortable and they worked great! They made it easier to find where to plug the shoulder straps in and to keep the rough belt off of our necks without getting locked out. They worked so great that I'm going to buy one for the passenger side of my husbands Ford pickup. Thanks for making a great product! They are made very nicely and match perfectly in color. You would never be able to tell that they did not come with the vehicle. Very easy to install...we really like this product.

GREAT PURCHASE!
Bought this for a bigger guy, 6 foot 2 and 375lbs, he could fit the trucks seat belt but was extremely uncomfortable and could hardly move in it, and the original belt was low next to the console and hard to reach. This was EXACTLY WHAT HE NEEDED! Now it fits him like anyone else of a smaller size. Bigger people should not be forgotten when it comes to safety, wish we would have known about this site years ago, have since ordered for other vehicles and all arrived super fast, about 2 days and the price is great, they are safety approved, 3 purchases, 3 great products, excellent shipping and service, all were ordered for both driver and passenger side and all were the 5 inch rigid, 3 different makes and models, all perfect, highly recommend!

My sister has a bad shoulder that made it extremely painful to reach her seat belt over to fasten. I got this for her birthday and she absolutely loves it!

To the rescue
The original seat belt receptacle is partially broken and was VERY difficult to release. The extender slips right in place so I can disconnect the belt there.. Very glad you were able to help. When I first discovered the problem, I spent 20 minutes trying to get loose from the belt. I was in a supermarket parking lot-- somewhat embarrassed. Now we have an extender on both front seats..

Ordered these & too long. Requested 3" for Ford explorer 2010 model .they sent for free but would not fit explorer. Wish they would sesuend correct oes.
