Do Not Do This With Your Extender

Seat Belt Extenders Should Not Be Used As Nunchucks
It seems weird to have to say it, but hey - when it isn't said, it often isn't done, so we're here to make sure we cover our bases. Here it goes:
Never use your Extender in a fashion for which it was not intended.
Your Extender is a safety device, and as such, it should only be used as it was intended to be used: to lengthen an existing seat belt.
Please do not use your Seat Belt Extender for any other reason, including but not limited to:
- to connect two different seat belts together,
- to prevent your seat belt alarm from reminding you to buckle up when you actually are occupying the seat (if your state legally allows this under certain conditions, then we encourage you instead to try our End-Ding Alarm Stop)
- to avoid important safety practices with a device designed to increase safety.
We are in the business of making people safer, and we hope that you'll help us continue our prestigious path of doing so by only using your Extender for the purpose for which it was created.
